Healing and Connection
An Attachment-Based Approach
Tracy's clinical work with individuals, couples, and families is rooted in Attachment-Based Therapy and Trauma-Informed Practice. Whether it's finding insight into parenting, clarity in coupleship, or confidence in any other relationship, a more comprehensive view of oneself is paramount. Therefore, understanding our early role models of relationship is necessary. Tracy's role is to help shed light on our past and present. Tracy helps bring clarity to how we see ourselves, our circumstances and how those perceptions may inhibit us from living our most authentic life.
At Hove Counseling, Tracy utilizes evidence-based practice, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Trauma Focused Therapy. Tracy has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS). Tracy has worked with issues ranging from anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders. She has worked with issues related to neurodiversity, adoption, sexuality, and gender. Tracy has vast experience teaching parenting strategies, mindfulness, interpersonal communication, and emotion regulation skills.
